With Apex Energy Solutions of Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland, Stephen La Barbera gives homeowners the benefit of lessons he learned around the world and from a global leader in consumer products and innovation.

As an Army brat, La Barbera grew up in cities across the U.S. and Europe – including Washington, D.C. – before earning a journalism degree from Indiana University. Degree in hand, he quickly launched himself on another worldwide tour, this time with Procter & Gamble.

La Barbera spent more than 20 years with P&G, working in a variety of domestic and international health care businesses and embracing P&G’s legendary high standards for innovation, customer service, ethics and education-based marketing. While living in Europe, with its high cost of energy, he developed an interest and appreciation for energy efficiency.

La Barbera put all of these lessons together with Apex, where he helps D.C.-area homeowners increase the value of their home, while improving energy efficiency.
