Apex Energy Solutions grew from founder Michael Foit's first experience selling replacement windows. Quickly disillusioned by the industry's practices, quality standards and approach to customer service, Michael saw the need for an alternative — a firm that doesn't simply sell windows, but one that educates homeowners to make sensible decisions about high-quality home improvements.

After returning home from Hollywood to his Midwestern roots, the former actor stumbled across an opportunity to work in the home improvement industry. What he expected to be a short-term job captured his passion and inspired the firm that in 2009 helped over 1,000 homeowners (for a total of 15,000 triple paned window units) improve their homes' value, energy efficiency and appearance.

Founded in 1998, Apex Energy Solutions distinguishes itself in three ways:
